Cruisin’ with the Candidates Was a Great Success!

September 2026

Although the nor’easter kept us off the water, it didn’t dampen the enthusiasm at Cruisin’ With the Candidates!

Candidates, elected officials, supporters, and friends of the 14th Representative District gathered at Bramble & Brine at The Buttery on September 27 for an enjoyable evening of conversation, connection, and commitment to Delaware’s future.

The event gave guests an opportunity to speak directly with Democratic candidates and elected officials about the issues affecting our communities—and to learn how we can help elect strong Democratic leaders throughout Sussex County and across Delaware.

A Special Thank-You

We extend our sincere thanks to the members of the 14th RD Fundraising Committee, whose planning, flexibility, and hard work made the evening possible. When severe weather required an unexpected change of venue, the committee quickly reorganized the event and ensured that the evening proceeded successfully.

We are also grateful to Bramble & Brine, our candidates and elected officials, our generous supporters, and everyone who joined us despite the difficult weather.

Meet Our Candidates and Elected Officials

Candidates Maureen Madden and Justine Cuccia were unable to attend, but both are working hard in their respective races and deserve our support.

Let’s Carry This Energy Forward

Cruisin’ With the Candidates may be over, but the work continues.

Learn about our candidates. Volunteer for a campaign. Contribute if you can. Talk with your friends and neighbors—and, most importantly, make a plan to vote.

Together, we can elect outstanding Democratic candidates and work to turn Sussex County blue.
