Volunteer as a poll greeter

Poll greeters welcome voters outside Early Voting locations, answer questions, and share literature and candidate information. Because they may be the last volunteers voters meet before casting their ballots, a friendly greeting can make a real difference.

No special experience is needed. Bring a smile, a drink, and a chair. Volunteers will receive polling-place guidelines, and the 14th RD will provide a koozie as a small thank-you for helping.

Please dress comfortably. Political clothing or accessories may not be worn inside the polling place, so bring a jacket, sweatshirt, or sweater to cover them if you need to enter the building.

We currently have openings at two nearby Early Voting locations. Choose a location below to view available shifts and sign up:

·       Nassau Valley Vineyard

·       Margaret H. Rollins Community Center

Every shift helps, and every volunteer is sincerely appreciated.
