The Members of Delaware’s 14th Representative District Democratic Committee Welcome You!
As the local arm of the Delaware Democratic Party, the 14th Representative District Democratic Committee represents Rehoboth Beach, Dewey Beach and southern Lewes, and works with party members and district neighbors to help elect Democrats to local, state and national office. Because Delaware holds elections every other year, there’s always work to be done, including:
- Registering voters
- Informing residents about Democratic candidates and their platforms
- Organizing Get-Out-The-Vote (GOTV) drives
- Providing volunteers and organizational support to campaigns in our district

SUPPORT FAMILIES
We’re committed to aiding all residents of the 14th District, with a livable wage, affordable housing and day care, paid family and medical leave, and community resources for those in need.
ENHANCE EDUCATION
To improve our schools, we support increased funding for teachers and facilities, more apprenticeships and vocational tracks for high school students, and debt-free college.
STRENGTHEN THE ECONOMY
Let’s create an economy that works for everyone, with good-paying jobs, a $15 minimum wage and comprehensive benefits to make a better life for all Delawareans.
PROTECT THE ENVIRONMENT
As residents of ecologically sensitive beach communities, together we will work to protect the environment, ensure clean drinking water, reduce runoff and manage storm surges.
ENSURE ADEQUATE HEALTH CARE
Achieving universal health care will only happen if we fight for access to women’s health care, lower prescription drug prices, programs treating opioid addiction and services for children.
REDUCE OVERDEVELOPMENT
Through sensible land-use planning, together we will work to limit development, reduce overall density, ease congestion, expand public transit and improve local infrastructure.
PROTECT CIVIL RIGHTS AND VOTING RIGHTS
We’re the party of inclusion, promoting tolerance among people of all races, religions and backgrounds, protecting the rights of the LGBTQ community and defending voting rights for all.
PRESERVE SOCIAL SECURITY AND MEDICARE
We support equitable budget and tax policies that preserve Social Security and Medicare, and ensure that 14th District residents receive their fair share from state and county tax revenues.
