Special Notice to “AVR” Voters:
Voters who have been automatically registered to vote through their DMV registration were not given the opportunity to select a political party affiliation at the time of registration. As a result, these voters may complete and submit a form to designate their party affiliation at any time up to and including September 15, 2026, the date of the Primary Election.
The 2026 Primary Election will be the last election in which this AVR party–affiliation provision applies.
